Almost a month after the end of the pre-alpha test, I’ve finally got a video out.
Practically turbo-speed with my record.
Jokes aside, I was satisfied with the rudimentary pre-alpha build that was provided save the lack of direction. I tried to include as much feedback as possible but I can never be sure if the many complaints I had were going to persist.
Think of it like trying to critique a pizza at the ingredient stage. What’s there to say?
The ingredients look fresh I guess... can I complain it’s undercooked? It may turn out undercooked even after the pizza is complete right?
The one significant detail that could be gleaned was the souls-like element.
An interesting development following the footsteps of Lies of P and Stellar Blade. The latter of which I was certain of being a Bayonetta-like considering the CEO’s preference.
For now what I can say for certain is I hope the devs map out a clear direction for Defying Fate’s identity and I look forward to replaying Vindictus on an engine that isn’t old enough to have witnessed the birth of Christ.
